OUR STORY

Hi, I am Mansi, the founder of Gut Happy Foods. I am a mother of two girls and a little fur baby! I moved from India to Australia with my husband 20 years ago. Australia has given us a wonderful quality of life and we are very happy to call it home.

A decade ago, I left the teaching profession to pursue my passion for health and wellbeing. I found it facinating how the way we eat plays such an important role in the functioning of our bodies. I went back to uni to study an Advanced Diploma in Integrative Nutritional Therapeutics.

As I got deeper into the course material, I was amazed to see how the traditional meals I grew up eating in India — the foods my grandmother and mother cooked with so much love — had so many benefits.

As a nutritionist, I felt we could tweak these recipes a little, supercharge the ingredients and slow cook with care to create dinners that were nourishing, delicious, supported gut health, and enhanced longevity.

That’s where the Gut Happy journey began…

The next part of the journey was about making these slow cooked, nutrient-rich meals available to you, without the hard work.

We stayed away from preservatives, cooked in small batches and found completely compostable packaging, so these meals can be ready for you in your freezer when you are, and… even when you aren’t.

Gut Happy wants to fill you up, fuel you well, and give you time back, in a world that refuses to slow down.
