Sprouted black chickpeas and green capsicum simmered in a tomato and onion gravy. Cardamom, cinnamon, bay leaves and coriander giving a comforting warmth.
'Kala Channa' translates to black chickpeas. It is a pulse that is very nutritious, and high in fibre. These are soluble fibres, keeping you full between meals and acting as a prebiotic, benefitting the growth of good bacteria in your gut.
Just add sourdough or brown rice & quinoa. Looking for a side? Enjoy with beetroot sauerkraut and / or a dollop of greek yogurt.
